I still think that perhaps one of the best ways to stimulate the economy and create jobs is to give people a tax holiday. How much would private sector spending increase if income tax, medicare, and social security were eliminated from paychecks? Let private citizens spend how THEY wish rather than having the government choose how they spend.
(But if that happened, what would happen to medicare and ss?)
I work in the Financial Services industry and as a disclaimer I know that there is a lot I don't understand about the economy, politics, and other issues of our times, but since I get the chance to study all of the above for about 3 hours a day for work and I am very opinionated I figured I would give my opinions an outlet.

I like it. Short and to the point, but oh, so poignant.
So sarcastic, Tom. We should let them spend until they ar convicned it is a bad thing.
