We are definitely addicted as a nation to the doling out of public moneys. And, just as the heroin addict, we need increasingly larger amounts of the drug to get the same effect. Evidently the US has an insatiable lust for easy/free money from everyone's favorite sugar daddy: Uncle Sam.
